Never leave cooking food unattended and keep flammable items away from the stove. In case of a grease fire, smother the flames with a lid and turn off the heat.
Annual Spanish Fork Fire Events
DUCK RACE
Each year on July 24th, Spanish Fork Fire Department hosts an event where you buy a ticket for a duck that has a number on the bottom. The ducks race down the Spanish Fork river to see which ducks make it to the end first! There are multiple winners, and you get MONEY if your duck wins!
The races are separated into adult & kid categories. Adult duck tickets are $5 each, and kid duck tickets are $1 each.
Adult cash prizes are $1000, $500, $200 & $100.
Kid cash prizes are $100, $50, $20 & $10.
We also have a certain number of 'lucky duck' winners each year, and the prizes vary from money to gift cards!
The donations go directly to Spanish Fork Fire & EMS. You do not have to be present to win.
RAFFLE: 1/2 BEEF or 1/2 PORK
Each year a cow and pig are donated to the Spanish Fork Fire Department. The department sells tickets for a chance to win either 1/2 beef, or 1/2 pork.
Tickets are $1 each and there are 4 winners
All donations go directly to Spanish Fork Fire and EMS.
CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER
Every year, the Spanish Fork Fire Department teams up with YOR View real estate to raise money for families or individuals who have fallen upon hard times due to no fault of their own (death, fire, illness, etc)
All the donations given are spent on EXACTLY what these families and individuals need for Christmas.
